Work Experiences

As an international student, work opportunities available to me are very limited. However, this limitation did not hinder me from actively seeking opportunities to work on campus. This page outlines the work experiences, by "themes"- lab, education, office.

Computer Center Student Manager  (Mar 2017 - Present)

  • Manage ticketing system for all IT related problems, questions, inquiries, etc 

  • Maintain Computer Center printers and other IT & AV technologies around campus 

  • Handle communications among IT sub-departments, professors, and external parties 

  • Initiate projects and delegating tasks to more than 40 computer center operators and supervisors

Makerspace Student Lab Technician  (Jan 2018 - Present)

  • Maintain rapid prototyping tools such as 3D Printers, Lasercutters, soldering irons, drills, saws, and more

  • Manage all print and cut requests from the community, both academic & personal

  • Provide assistance for all prototyping needs for professors, students, and staff

Modern Physics & Physics Lab Teaching Assistant  (May 2018 - May 2019)

Summer STEM Makerspace Teaching Assistant  (Jul 2017 - Sep 2017)

  • Oversaw a total of 8 student projects, each groups of 3-4

  • Taught programs like AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, Rhino, Arduino, and more

  • Introduced students to rapid prototyping skills, such as 3D Printing

  • Maintained and troubleshooted a total of 10 3D printers

STEM Inventors LaSalle Lead Instructor (Jan 2018 - Jan 2019)

  • Lead Instructor for the STEM Inventors Program with LaSalle Academy 

  • Taught students CAD, microcontrollers, 3D-printing, and laser-cutting

  • Oversaw various student projects

  • Increased student attendance from 17% to 92%

STEM Saturdays Teaching Assistant  (Sep 2018 - Present)

  • Oversee a total of 6 student projects per semester, each groups of 4

  • Teach students CAD, microcontrollers, prototyping, and presentation, teamwork, & leadership skills

  • Prepare materials and content for students during weekly meetings

Campus Tour Guide  (Feb 2016 - Present)

  • give evaluated campus tours to prospective students and parents, potential investors, and more

  • answer any questions related to The Cooper Union, regarding admissions, campus, housing, etc​

Admissions Student Intern  (Sep 2018 - Present)

  • Assist with unplanned or unexpected engineering tours

  • Organize papers, applications, documents, and inquiry cards

  • Answer questions regarding admissions, both in person and on phone
